Just as a Lotus flower planted in the dirtiest of water finds its way to the light to bloom, I believe that you can discover the light shining within, motivating you to grow, heal, and thrive. Walking alongside you on the path to healing and recovery is a humbling privilege. I look forward to connecting with and joining you on this important journey.

My Philosophy

The Lotus Flower

The Lotus Flower is recognized as the flower of the dawn, a symbol of a new day, self-regeneration, purity, enlightenment, growth, and resilience. The flower begins life mired in the mud and the darkness and makes its way to the light where it blooms into the beautiful Lotus flower.

I chose the Lotus Flower to represent To Life! Counseling because it’s struggle to live, grow, and bloom is analogous to the human condition. Humans can (and often do) overcome difficult and extreme conditions, events, and challenges. We find a way to not only survive, but to thrive and grow through our most challenging and painful experiences. We become mired in the mud of depression, anxiety, trauma, and grief. Sometimes, we need a little help trudging through the mud toward the sunlight, where we emerge into our stronger and wiser selves.

Just as a Lotus flower planted in the dirtiest of water finds its way to the light to bloom, I believe that you can discover the light shining within, motivating you to grow, heal, and thrive. Walking alongside you on the path to healing and recovery is a humbling privilege. I look forward to connecting and joining you on this important journey. To Life!
